Aaliyah passed away in August 2001 at age of 22, but if she were still alive today she would be turning 35 years old. Her legacy and impact on the culture is undisputed, and today we're remembering her with our Throwback record of choice, the Timbaland-featured and produced "We Need A Resolution," which served as Baby Girl's lead single from her self-titled album Aaliyah.

"I want to know where were you last night? / I fell asleep on the couch, I thought we were going out / I want to know were your fingers broke? / If you had let me know I wouldn't have put on my clothes / I want to know where'd you go instead? / 'Cause it was four in the morning when you crept back in the bed / I want to know what was in your head? / Or what was in my head? Am I supposed to change?"Â
