Bronson has been called out as a misogynist yet again.
In a NOW Magazine review of the Toronto leg of Action Bronson and Danny Brown's ongoing "2 High 2 Die" tour, the former was criticized for behaving inappropriately with a young woman onstage. "During one song, Bronson brought a woman onstage, threw her over his shoulder, put her down in front of him, and proceeded to grope and shake her breast for⦠like, a long time," wrote contributor Julia Laconte. "Then he tossed her away like a piece of trash."
Those familiar with Bronson's live act know his shoulder rides are a common occurrence not limited to the opposite sex. For example, during a show in Washington, D.C. in December, he brought a disabled fan on stage and performed with him on his back (you can watch footage of this below). As for the groping, the Flushing, Queens emcee insists it was just a hug, but it's unlikely this particular writer will see his side of things, judging by this excerpt:
"Who was this girl? We never learned. But if youâre Bronson, it doesnât matter. She served the purpose of giving him a half-stiffy and almost-whole crowd-approval. (It should be noted that she was game to participate.) It irked me that she was a nameless nothing, un-introduced. And yeah, worse things happen all the time in strip clubs and behind closed doors etc., etc. But this was a concert that young people and women and everyone had paid money to attend. Bronson said he fucks with everyone who bought a ticket that night. Well, not everyone... And while the act was shocking â yes, even though Bronson puts out revolting cover art like this, it is still shocking to see such a thing happen 10 feet in front of your face â the most disturbing part was the uproarious cheers from the mostly college-boy crowd."
Bronsolino responded to the criticism via Twitter, as is his custom. Read what he had to say below:  Â
