The Atlanta-based producer's many plaques prove he's one of rap's most reliable hitmakers.
It hasn't taken long for Metro Boomin to climb from promising young beatmaker to one of the hip-hop's most in-demand producers. His first major breakthrough came with Future's "Karate Chop" in 2013, forging a creative partnership that would lead to many more hits. Since then, Metro has earned gold and platinum plaques for 19 tracks. Recently, he's found success in collaborations with Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black, and Post Malone, as well as earning his first Billboard Hot 100 with Migos' "Bad and Boujee." At the same time, Future remains the producer's most consistently effective collaborator, appearing on more than half of the singles on this list. As of this week, Future's "Mask Off" gave Metro another gold record.
