Out of the many excellent rap albums dropping today, Apollo Brown's Grandeur might be the one most worth checking out. The Detroit producer extraordinaire linked up with Freddie Gibbs earlier this year on Verbal Kent's "Suitcase Switch," and Gibbs is the most prominent featured artist on Grandeur, appearing alongside Brooklyn rapper Maffew Ragazino on "Who's That." Apollo's sure-footed sampling style is a natural fit for Gibbs' hardbody flow, here's hoping they can continue to collaborate in the future.
