Well, Ariana does more of the dancing, actually.
Ariana Grande finally drops her music video for "the light is coming," and although it's literal in a way, it differs from what might be expected. The setting is reminiscent of the greenery scenes of Rihanna's "S.O.S." music video, minus the hi-beam feel of the lights. The opening shows a tree's giant root coming from the earth. We follow its length until we find Nicki. The rapper delivers her verse in the dark, surrounded by billowing fog. Then comes Ariana. She prances and crawls in the forest. Lays her back down on a rock, pulls on her iconic ponytail. She's doing the most. It doesn't sound particularly cute, but it is. The video can legit be watched without sound for another layer of entertainment, no joke.
Enjoy the visual while waiting for Ariana's next album, Sweetener. If you like the Grande/Minaj Combo, consider checking out their most recent collaboration. You can stream bed here. They also came out with a music video teaser for the track. If you would rather rock to a different combination, we got you with this dreamy track. Oh, and if you stan Ariana's shoes, you can enter a contest to win them from Reebok. Just follow the link.
