At the peak of the "Bodak Yellow" hype in 2017, Cardi B was sued by a man who claimed that the tattooed model of her Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 1 used an identical tattoo design to his. Cardi was supposed to have been deposed in the case but according to court documents, she wants to get an extension for her deadline to answer the lawyers' questions to due to complications after Kulture's birth.

Cardi B's wants to court to push back the deadline for her to answer lawyers' questions because she's suffered "unanticipated post-partum complications" since the birth of Kulture, TMZ reports. In court documents, she cited the complications as the reason why she had to cancel her tour with Bruno Mars and other things. They said that her condition has made it incredibly difficult to make her participate in sitting for a deposition and finishing the investigation. Cardi B is asking the judge to give her until October to complete the deposition. 

When Cardi B announced that she would be dropping out of the Bruno Mars tour, she revealed that she underestimated motherhood. She said that she's not ready both physically and mentally to endure life on the road that quickly after giving birth to her daughter. Despite dropping out of the tour, Cardi did reveal that she had more music coming this fall.
