Cardi B's debut album just went platinum.
Of all the albums we've received this year, likely the most anticipated worldwide was Cardi B's Invasion of Privacy. Whether you love or hate her, everyone was looking to see how Cardi's career would go from her first album and since its release, she's only continued her rise to the top. While she had dropped a few mixtapes prior to her official debut, Cardi was a wildcard in that it was unclear what we could expect from her after the success of "Bodak Yellow." With "Be Careful" and "I Like It" both experiencing chart success, it's safe to say Bardi will be in the game for a while.
Now, she has even more reason to celebrate after finding out Invasion of Privacy has officially been certified platinum. It was only a matter of time for the project to be given such honors since two of her most popular songs, "Bodak Yellow" and "Bartier Cardi" were included on the tracklist. The starlet was candid about how she plans to celebrate the good news, keeping things calm with "Bookies and Milk." Cardi has been known to replace "C's" with "B's" so she could either be alluding to a good book she's sitting down with or her pregnancy cravings have brought her to the delicious wonders of the cookie aisle. Either way, she's still having a nice, little relaxing time.
With rumors that Cardi is going into labor any minute, baby Bardi could be appearing over the weekend for her first appearance. Congratulations are in order for Bardi!
