Chris Brown is currently under investigation for allegedly pointing a gun at a woman's head after she examined a diamond necklace at his home earlier this week. According to a new report from the Los Angeles Times, his attorney Mark Geragos claims he LAPD's search of his Los Angeles mansion yielded the discovery of neither firearms nor the crucial piece of jewelry described in the accuser's report.

“It has become apparent that the allegations are not just false but fabricated,” Geragos said.

Geragos' claim conflicts with an earlier report from TMZ that claimed police found at least one firearm and drugs in a duffel bag Brown had thrown out the window. However, it is corroborated by a newer TMZ report that the accuser, former beauty pageant queen Baylee Curran, texted her friend at 2:57 AM Tuesday morning shortly, telling him that she planned to fabricate allegations against Brown after Brown kicked her out of his house.

Geragos is currently attempting to authenticate the text, which allegedly reads, "Hey safari don't you know this freak Chris brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friend jewelry fake can you come get me my Uber is messing up if not I'm going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me and that will teach him a lesson I'm going to set his ass up. Lol come get me."

The dramatic sequence of events began Monday night, when Curran accused Brown of pointing a gun at her head. A 10-hour standoff with police concluded Tuesday afternoon when police obtained a warrant to enter Brown's home and arrested him on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. Brown was released on $250,000 bail Tuesday night and released a song called "What Would You Do?" less than 24 hours later. His arraignment is scheduled for September 20th.
