City Girls' made waves over the year ever since their appearance on Quality Control Presents Control The Streets Vol. 1. Unfortunately, the Miami duo faced a setback after JT turned herself in on fraud charges. She's been behind bars since July, but Quality Control CEO, Pee shared a message from the incarcerated rapper.

The streets have been missing The City Girls and Quality Contorl's CEO Pee wanted to give fans an update on City Girls' JT. Pee recorded a phone conversation he had with JT recently and posted it on Instagram.

"Wassup y'all? I miss y'all! I can not wait to come home. Period," she said on the phone.

Pee also used the moment to announce that the City Girls' album will be coming soon. 

"Message From @thegirljt," he captioned the Instagram post. "@citygirls Album OTW."

Since their appearance on the Quality Control compilation, they released their debut mixtape, PERIOD. Drake also sampled them on his chart-topping single, "In My Feelings." Yung Miami made a cameo in the video while rocking a t-shirt advocating for JT"s freedom.

JT was initially supposed to be released from prison on March 21, 2020 after being sentenced to nearly two years in prison. However, City Girls' Yung Miami shared a brief update the other week on JT's legal situation and revealed that she'll be out of prison by December.
