Conor lost the last fight in the tenth round.
While to some it may have just been a glorified exhibition, there is no denying how big the fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather was. The fight saw a UFC fighter in McGregor, enter uncharted territory by taking on one of the greatest boxers of all time, Mayweather. It was a mismatch from the start, although McGregor did show quite a bit of potential. In the end, though, Mayweather won the fight, taking it in the tenth round. On Twitter last night, McGregor entertained the idea of a rematch as he commented on some of the things he did wrong in the fight.
"I spoiled it with the rush right hook here. The angle was made. He was in the dirt. I just had to set correctly into my feet and fire. Rushing the right hook I lost balance on my backhand. Great boxing fight! A rematch will be interesting no doubt," Conor wrote.
McGregor reportedly made $100 million from the fight, while Mayweather picked up $300 million. If the two were to fight again, they'd probably be in for even more of a payout, although right now it seems as though Mayweather is happy with his exhibition fights in Asia.
As for McGregor, he'll probably be sticking to the UFC for the immediate future.
