Dave B continues to roll out new music ahead of his upcoming Bleu album. After hitting us with “Pretty” recently, the Seattle native decides to come through today and share his latest offering called “48,” which is inspired by Seattle great Ken Griffey Jr.
“Growing up in Seattle, one of my favorite athletes has always been number 24, Ken Griffey, Jr,” Dave B told HypeBeast. “And when Sango and I go in the studio I feel like you’re getting two Ken Griffey’s on one track which is insane. He creates the perfect soundscape that bridges the gap between my last album Pearl and the new music I’m making for Bleu. Can’t wait for you guys to hear more soon. Enjoy.”
Produced by Sango, listen to Dave’s rapid fire flow and let us know what you think.
Summer time got shut down by the time I get back writing again
I could spend two weeks with the homies ‘fore she like me again
I don't really need that much stuff I just be liking to spend
You say I need I need I need to make the floor touch your shins
