The singer re-enters regular society.
Demi Lovato was seen out and about for the first time since entering rehab. The singer was admitted into a facility in early August after being hospitalized for a drug overdose. Although it is unclear whether the star has completed her program, Lovato seemed healthy considering the medical issues she has been enduring. The "Sober" singer was hanging out with a friend in Los Angeles. The pair was photographed as they drove around the city.
Henri Alexander Levy, the friend in question, took Demi out for sushi in Beverly Hills on Saturday night. Onlookers were surprised by her presence.
"Demi looked great and so happy to be out," an eyewitness told E! News. "They seemed like good friends who were catching up and excited to see one another. There wasn't any PDA or romantic gestures, but she was smiling and laughing throughout dinner. She was very relaxed and at ease. She said hello to the sushi chefs when they greeted her with a big smile. She seemed happy and healthy. They stayed for an hour and a half before leaving together in his car."
If Demi Lovato is, in fact, ready to return home from rehab, she will land in a place other than the house in which she was found unconscious. Her previous home has been placed back on the market.
