HNHH is unveiling a new digital cover story today, with YG as the focus.
We've been waiting two full years (plus a few months, or to be extremely precise, 832 days) for YG's sophomore effort. The West Coast rapper quickly rose to prominence with his debut My Krazy Life, after a string of gangster-rapper-solidifying mixtapes. 'Krazy' is an apt description of YG's life, although, by now, that shit's probably pretty average-- especially given everything that's happened since My Krazy Life-- thus 'krazy' is more so a descriptor for the benefit of the non-gang-affiliated listener.
For his latest album, YG flips My Krazy Life on its head, opting for b's instead of k's, with Still Brazy. Whereas his debut found him bicken back bein' bool for the most part, Still Brazy finds him in a much more unbomfortable space. In our latest digital cover story, which we'll be revealing in its entirety at Noon EST, we explore this rather paranoid space that YG has found himself in for the past couple of years, be it through his album or through our exclusive interview.
Check out the BTS from our photo shoot, shot in YG's native L.A. with photographer Emilio Sanchez below. We'll update this page with the link to the digital cover story at Noon.
