As part of New York Fashion Week, Kanye West is hosting Yeezy Season 5, Wednesday. This season will prove different though. Ye has collaborated with none other than Drake to design some fresh grabs such as a long sleeve T-shirt teased by GQ Magazine style write Jake Woolf on social media.

West also recruited model Halima Aden to walk the runway at Yeezy Season 5. Born in a Kenyan refugee camp, the hijab-wearing Somali-American will make her fashion week debut. Last year, while competing in Minnesota’s Miss USA pageant, Aden wore her hijab throughout. She even rocked a burkini during the swimsuit competition.

While many fashion aficionados have decided to skip Ye's show for various reasons, the Chicago artist seems to be trying to make amends for his past behavior -- including his brief support of Donald Trump. By linking up with Drake -- who expressed open contempt for the U.S. president -- and hiring a refugee, is West sending out a message to the current government?

Last fall, The Life of Pablo rapper said he and the 6 God were working on new music together. He even mentioned there was a new album in the works.
