Elon Musk is onto something.
When you think about the first iPod and the products that followed such as the Nano and the Shuffle and all the iPhones and the features that got better and better each time, it's seemingly gotten to a point where each new upgrade isn't as exciting as it once was. Tesla creator and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk talked about the latter with Recode, detailing how Apple isn't making the same strides in technology they once were.
"There are not many products you can buy that really make you happier," Elon told the publication. "And so Apple did that for a long time, I still think, obviously, that Apple makes great phones [...] I still use an iPhone and everything. But Apple used to really bring out products that would blow people's minds, you know? "
Elon is still a big fan of Apple, don't get him wrong, but he doesn't really "think people are necessarily running to the store for the iPhone 11," he added, shouting out his own company: "But I think with Tesla, we really want to make products that people just love, that are heart-stopping."
