StockX partners with celebrs to raffle exclusive sneakers for Hurricane relief.
Eminem, LeBron James, Pharrell and others have partnered with sneaker-selling site StockX to raffle off some of their rare sneakers in a bid to raise funds for Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma relief efforts.
Here's how the raffle works,
1) For every $10 donation, the donor will receive one entry for a chance to win that sneaker.
2) Check your email to confirm your entry. Winners will be notified by September 26th at 5PM EDT.
3) Everyone can donate but only US residents 18 years and older can win. Official Rules
These are just some of the exclusive kicks that are up for grabs:
Eminem x Air Jordan 4 "Carhartt" (Size 10.5) - donated by Eminem
Nike LeBron 9 "Watch The Throne" (Size 14) - donated by LeBron James
Nike Blazer Mid x Off-White (Size 10) - donated by Virgil Abloh
Air Jordan 10 Retro "Deerskin" Sample (Size 11) - donated by Jon Buscemi
In total, there are 17 rare sneakers up for grabs and as of this writing StockX has already raised more than $37,000. Thus far, most of the money (nearly $14,500) has been donated for the chance to win Eminem's "Carhartt" Air Jordan 4 collab. Only a select few sizes of that shoe are available at sneaker consignment shop Flight Club, with prices ranging from $15,000 all the way up to $30,000.
The pink "Family & Friends" colorway of Pharrell's Adidas NMD HU is also one of the hottest items up for grabs, with bids hovering around $8,500, as well as Virgil Abloh's Off-White x Nike Blazer Mid which has currently generated $3,390 in donations.
In addition to those highly coveted sneakers, StockX also received an Under Armour Curry 3 Low "Obama" PE courtesy of Steph Curry, as well as donations from Snoop Dogg, Mark Wahlberg, Russell Wilson, Steve Aoki, 2 Chainz and Gary Vaynerchuk.
"For each $10 donation made between now and September 25th, 11:59 pm PDT, the donor will receive one entry for the chance to win. Funds raised will be matched by Eminem, up to $250,000. All proceeds will go to the Greater Houston Community Foundation and Team Rubicon in support of the Hurricane Harvey and Irma relief efforts."
