Glen "Big Baby" Davis is in trouble with the law again.
Glen "Big Baby" Davis will always be looked upon quite fondly by Boston Celtics fans. He carved himself a nice role off the bench during Doc Rivers' championship run with the big three. Unfortunately, that's where the good tidings end. According to WMAR-TV in Baltimore, Davis had been arrested on February 7, in a Maryland hotel. He was caught with 126 grams of marijuana and a briefcase holding $92,000 in cash. The proprietor of the building followed his nose to Room 208, at which point the police were called upon. Police Lieutenant William Reiber noted finding "a ledger that contained language which is consistent with someone involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics."
The police report was kept confidential until now, a month later. Davis has been indicted on possession and distribution charges, 7 counts in total. His attorney spoke with ABC2 pleading his client's innocence, in his absence, adding that he looks forward to his day in court. Big Baby had apparent tried his hand at film production but has since fallen into another racket altogether.
The sooner we delve into decriminalization the better.
