Frank Ocean also confirms that he approved the record before it came out.
Earlier today, it was reported that Frank Ocean sent Travis Scott a cease and desist letter for his contributions on "Carousel" off of Astroworld. Although it was reported the two were beefing on the weeks leading up the release of Scott's latest album, it turns out that Frank Ocean and Travis Scott have already resolved their conflict.
Frank Ocean took to tumblr to address the rumors of the cease and desist letter he sent Travis Scott in order to get his vocals removed from "Carousel." While it was reported that the cease and desist letter had to do with the mixing done to Frank Ocean's vocals, that may have not been the case.
"I think the song sounds cool, I did it in like 20 minutes and the mix sounds the way Travis wanted it to sound for his record. I also approved it before it came out so the cease and desist wasn't about ð it was about ð³ï¸ð," Frank Ocean wrote on tumblr. "Me and Travis resolved it amongst ourselves weeks ago."
Thankfully, the two of them resolved things. Hopefully, this means we might hear more music from the two of them in the future.
In other Astroworld related news, Travis Scott and Drake was reportedly spotted in Houston on Tuesday shooting the music video for "SICKO MODE." At this point, there's no footage of the two shooting the music video but hopefully, it'll drop soon.
