Ghostface Killah is actually sitting down with the man that gained Internet lore impersonating him, and no I'm not talking about Action Bronson. Remember the cat that wrote those long-winded reviews in Ghostface's "voice?" Well, it seems Ghostface was as big a fan of his character impersonation as the rest of us, recruiting him as the main producer on The Lost Tapes which drops next Friday alongside a bunch of big releases.
The GFK doppelganger christened himself "Big Ghost" in order to conceal his true identity, an identity us fans would never ask him to disclose, for fear of losing mystique. The most recent offering from the upcoming project "Done It Again" casts a stately figure (Big Daddy Kane) beside a cult hero (Cappadonna), and a singer Wu-Heads hold the distinction of knowing (Styliztik Jones).
Ghostface summarized the collaboration as a "classic Ghostface vibe, celebrating women, their beauty, knowledge, and strength." The Wu-Tang Clansmen is also smitten with the idea of trading bars with a childhood hero in Big Daddy Kane, a collaboration you would have thought existed by now.
I won't forgive myself or cook me dinner.
But I do it all for you if you give me a chance boo
Come on now, we can spend Arabian Nights.
