World's collide on the "Glass" poster.
When Unbreakable hit theaters in 2000, it rocked audiences. The film is considered one of the best super-hero movies of all time, and stars Bruce Willis and Samuel Jackson. The plot revolves around Willis, who learns that he has super strength after being tested by Jackson. Directed by M. Night Shyamalan, the film has a major plot twist at the end which left fans viewers in suspense for years.
Then, Split was released in 2017 and it was revealed that M. Night Shyamalan had been working on a sequel to Unbreakable for years. Split focused on James McAvoy's villain dubbed "The Horde," a man with multiple personalities. After Split turned out to be a smash hit, Shyamalan began to work on a third film that would bridge the gap between McAvoy's villain, Samuel L. Jackson's Mr. Glass, and Bruce Willis' David Dunn. The talented director took to Twitter today (June 29) and announced when fans would get the first trailer for the film along with a teaser poster for the movie, which is entitled Glass. It is apparent that Jackson's character will play the main antagonist since the film is named after him, and McAvoy's more powerful character can be the brawn in the group. A teaser trailer for Glass drops on July 20, and the film hits theaters on January 18, 2019.
