GlokkNine isn't talking out of turn on "Blatt."
Birdman's latest recruit is reaching new heights at the apex of summer. "Blatt" is the latest record from his Loyalty Kill Love to see lights since its inception in late July. GlokkNine stays true to his Orlando, Florida roots by scoping bodies and shorties in an old school Chevy sitting on blades. The precocious young rapper lets off slang that might seem impersonal at first glance, but once you hone in closer, you discover storytelling that hits you right at the core, for lack of a better term.
The music video for "Blatt" doesn't overcompensate for anything yet to be earned, even though a $2 million dollar bounty with Cash Money Records is nothing to scoff at. He earned his deal by standing taller than his peers on Word Star's web channel, where his music first gained traction. The advent of Lil Wayne's dismissal at Cash Money has led to wholesale changes by the magnate, with Birdman opting to build a nationwide pool of talent.
