Cozz has been bubbling up for the past three years with the numerous projects, singles and features he'd hopped on. The rapper penned to J. Cole's Dreamville imprint in 2014 and his grind game has been heavy ever since. For the past month, he's been dropping a slew of new records in anticipation of his upcoming project. With Effected dropping tomorrow, he lets loose one of two new songs featuring one of hip hop's heavyweights.
Cozz and J. Cole link up on their new collaboration "Zendaya." The two rappers kick off over a smooth production. The rare J. Cole feature doesn't disappoint either. As Cole's known for, he gets honest about the societal issues right now including the Xanax epidemic and more.
In addition to this song, he also linked up with Kendrick Lamar for another cut that dropped with "Hustla's Story."
Let's begin to be the men we never seen
In the 80's they smoke crack but now today, they sippin lean
And poppin' xannies, fuck n*ggas runnin' from they families
The streets don't give a fuck about the Grammys
