Another critical Trump portrait in Carrey's ongoing series.
Jim Carrey is a very vocal detractor of the current POTUS Donald Trump, as he routinely shares original artworks inspired by the highly-contested politician. The images are usually grotesque in nature, and create a caricature of his subject matter that is both wincingly defamatory, yet oddly humorous.
The comedian/artist's latest portrait riffs on Trump's 1987 memoir The Art of the Deal, presenting the world's most infamous politician as he is about to gnaw into an infant's leg. His teeth resemble a feral creature's, whilst his physiognomy showcases cannibalistic and maniacal intent.
Carrey's caption for the photo directly addresses Trump's "zero tolerance" policy that has been sweeping the nation. "If the Democrats would just stop the Mueller investigation, build a wall, declare me a God and pass a special law allowing me to marry my hot daughter I wouldn’t have to devour these immigrant babies. It’s terrible what they’re doing. Obstructionists!"
Earlier this month, Carrey also took aim at Jeff Sessions for supporting Trump's separation of migrant children and parents with another darkly satirical work.
