Kanye thinks that "Ralph Lauren would be very ashamed."
At Ralph Lauren's 50th anniversary party on Friday night, Kanye had a moment that was vintage Kanye (minus the Ralph Lauren polo). Right after entering the party and running the gauntlet of photographers and reporters, Mr. West asked someone involved in the planning of the party if they could eject one specific reporter from the event. Kanye can be heard giving the event organizers an ultimatum: "No. No. She needs to be kicked out right now or I'm gonna leave. Right now." Powerless to resist, the Ralph Lauren employee can do nothing but follow Ye as he shows exactly who he wants to be ejected. She eventually reassures him with a tactful arm on his back, guiding him away from confrontation, saying: "we'll take care of it."
Why would Kanye be so mad at a red carpet interviewer? Apparently she asked an off-limits question. When he identifies the woman who wants to leave, Ye stands stock still in front of her (maybe trying to look imposing) and tells her that "Ralph Lauren would be very ashamed that you asked that last question." According to TMZ, the question had something to do with Tyson Beckford, who commented on one of Kim Kardashian's Instagram photos, saying "sorry I don't care for it personally" in response to her body.
