Kodak Black has been feeding the streets with plenty of new heat over the past few days, and thankfully he’s not slowing down either. After hitting us with four new songs over the weekend, including “Snap Shit," "Roll N Peace," "Down South," and "Right Now,” the Florida sensation decides to keep the friendly release strategy alive and return to the scene today with an appropriate new song called “Halloween.”
Going in over the stellar production from Rex Kudo & Charlie Handsome, “Halloween” is a melodic street record that finds Kodak reflecting on his childhood & growing up with his father, while mentioning he should’ve been born on “Halloween” in the process. “Woke up on the wrong side of the sheets/ But really I shoulda been born on halloween,” he croons on the chorus before referencing having another album on the way. “I don't remember his ass trying to checking up on me/ Might drop another album in a week, I’m a wolf but I be dressing like the sheep.” Highlighted by its infectious production & catchy flow & delivery, "Halloween" is another strong addition to Kodak's steady growing catalogue of hits.
It’s unclear at the moment on where this will end up, but who cares we’re all for this one. This shit pretty fire. Take a listen and let us know what you think!
In other news, Kodak is getting ready to drop off a joint project with Plies in a matter of hours called F.E.M.A. (Finesse, Elevate, Motivate & Achieve). Look out for that to drop sometime Tuesday morning. Stay tuned.
Poppin monkeys, popping bottles make me swing
