Kodak Black adds 120 days to his sentence.
Kodak Black's legal troubles continue to mount. It seemed as though things were looking up the other month, when a report surfaced that the Florida-bred rapper would be released on house arrest. A day later though, news broke that two outstanding warrants would prevent Kodak's freedom. Shortly following that, things looked even worse for Kodak when the rapper was accused of sexual battery.
Today, the Sun-Sentinel reports that Kodak will serve 120 days in jail after pleading no contest to two misdemeanor drug charges in Fort Pierce. The charges included "posession of 20 grams or less of cannabis, and a misdemeanor charge of use or possession of drug paraphernalia."
The 19-year old rapper will only serve 120 days out of a four month sentence as he was given credit for time already spent behind bars, however his driver's license will be suspended for a year, and he was fined $298.
As the publication reports, St. Lucie records show that Kodak's expected release is scheduled for November 30 2016, however he still has to deal with the sexual battery case from South Carolina-- so we'll have to see how that affects his jail time.
