Kodak Black drops "Transportin" video.
Kodak Black has had an eventful year filled with ups and downs. As a personality, his mouth remains completely unfiltered therefore he's been making some headlines due to his comments. Between his legal troubles and controversial comments, he hasn't had a moment without the public eye on him in the last little bit. Nonetheless, with all that he's been through, it's quite clear that he lets it all out in the music he creates. This morning, he delivered us the long-awaited Project Baby 2 album.
One of the highlighted tracks on the project, is the feel-good "Transportin" and now we receive the visuals for the song. The video shows Kodak Black chillin' in his house and in the studio, counting cash and generally being the personality he typically is. The video was shot by Sniper Gang Films' Yung Mik3 and Wavy Lord. The two do a great job at using color to their advantage. While orange seems to be a favorite color of Kodak's, the two directors highlighted that in every shot possible. Whether it's Kodak's cars or the bag he puts his fat wads of cash in, each scene has a highlight of orange in it. It's a pretty tightly made video, mainly because it maintains the same simplicity that Kodak often has in the way he raps. It's nothing over the top but it captures the vibrancy of the song itself.
With Project Baby 2 out, hopefully we'll be seeing more visuals and maybe a tour. People have definitely been waiting for this project to drop, so Kodak's probably feeling really good right now seeing his fans appreciation. It's another body of work that proves Kodak Black's strength as an artist. While he continues to progress and grow, it will be interesting to see what his next steps will be.
