An off-duty LAPD officer reportedly found a tampon in his Starbucks Frappuccino, which is now being investigated.
One week after the Shake Shack incident, which was allegedly untrue, a Los Angeles police officer is claiming that he found a tampon inside of his Starbucks Frappuccino midway through drinking it.
An off-duty cop claims that he purchased his drink inside of a Target on Friday, using his police credit union debit card to pay for the order. Then, after he left with the Frappuccino, he found the nasty surprise and rushed back to speak to the staff.
A police report was reportedly filed and it is being investigated as a food tampering incident.
The L.A. Police Protective League is describing this as an intentional attack on the cop. "This disgusting assault on a police officer was carried out by someone with hatred in their heart and who lacks human decency," they said to Fox 11 L.A. "We hope they are publicly exposed, fired, arrested, and prosecuted for their cowardly and repugnant actions."
Right now, there are no further details but the situation is being looked at. We will keep you updated on any news regarding this.
A similar incident took place at Shake Shack when a trio of NYPD officers claimed they were poisoned with bleach milkshakes. After investigating the matter, it was determined that they did not have any symptoms and lied about throwing up.
