LeBron is still out with a groin strain.
Ever since Christmas Day, Los Angeles Lakers superstar, LeBron James has been out with a groin injury. The Lakers have struggled since then and have been looking forward to James' return, as it would surely help them get back into the playoff race. While the team was hoping for him to come back to action on Thursday against the Clippers, it seems as though James has been ruled out, according to ESPN.
On Wednesday, Lakers head coach Luke Walton spoke about how James has looked at practice as of late.
"He looked good today," Walton said according to ESPN. "He did practice. We kept practice short, with all the injuries we have and minutes guys are playing. But he did everything we had on the schedule and he looked good. He looked good two days ago in practice too. So, we'll see how he feels tomorrow and we'll take it from there. We'll keep prepping as if he's not going to play and hope that he's healthy enough to play."
The Lakers are now ninth place in the Western Conference and hold a record of 26-25. James and the Lakers also embroiled in some trade rumors as Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans reportedly wants to play for the purple and gold.
