LeBron James fires back at Donald Trump via The Hollywood Reporter.
LeBron sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to usher in the new King James era in Los Angeles. Don't front, LeBron's move to the West Coast is driven by more than just basketball, just look at all the question marks surrounding the current Lakers' roster. That's the beauty of LeBron West Coast makeover; his success in Tinsel Town doesn't hinge on him winning the NBA championship now that he's built himself a respectable entertainment empire. Bron Bron broke it down for The Reporter, one measure at a time.
Another essential part of LeBron James' adult life at 33 years old, is the leadership role he has accepted within the sports entertainment industry. His war of words with Donald Trump has resulted in the president marking him down as Public Enemy No. 1.
Marisa Guthrie of The Reporter listened to LeBron as he explained his positionality. Even the President's own wife sided with Bron when his intelligence "came under fire." To that end, LeBron remains unfazed by the running commentary emanating from Trump's Twitter feed.
"That's like somebody saying I can't play ball," James said in the interview. "That doesn't bother me at all. What bothers me is that he has time to even do that. He has the most powerful job in the world. Like, you really got this much time that you can comment on me?"
