Lil Baby lands his first platinum plaque.
It's been quite the year for Lil Baby. The rapper is currently in the standings as the next biggest export out of Atlanta. The rapper teamed up with Drake for his first top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100, "Yes Indeed." Since the song's release, it became one of the biggest street anthems to drop this year. In early June, the single went gold and a few weeks later, it's reached another RIAA achievement.
Lil Baby lands his first platinum single for his smash single, "Yes Indeed" with Drake. It doesn't come as much of a shock considering how much play it's been getting on the airwaves and streaming services. The song helped Drake break the record for most number one singles on the Billboard Streaming Chart. There's no doubt that the song is one of the biggest singles of the summer and it's platinum certification is further proof.
While Lil Baby is fresh off the release of his latest project, Harder Than Ever, he has more music on the way. A few months back, he and Gunna hinted that they'll be dropping a joint project. At the time, they didn't share a release date or when to expect it, but last week, Baby revealed that it's expected to drop at some point this month. Keep your eyes peeled for Drip Harder.
