A collaboration we wanna see.
Lil Yachty and Lil B both shared the same picture on their feed. The photos don't have detailed captions to confirm that new beats are being made, but isn't this always how it goes? The artists share pics of the each other hanging out and then a few weeks later a track drops and we realize that they gave us hints a while back.
Before the pics were posted, Lil Yachty took to Twitter asking for a producer to come through to an Atlanta studio session: "I need a personal engineer in Atlanta. One that's fire and on go at all hours. And Not A Groupie! wassup!" It's easily assumed that this could have been to assist the crew during the time the pictures were taken.
The youngest of the trio, 17-year-old Lil Pump, is just coming off his album drop Lil Pump Tape. The 15-track project boasts features from Gucci Mane, Chief Keef, 2 Chainz, Smokepurpp and Rick Ross. Lil Yachty, 20, has teased his upcoming project Lil Boat 2 when he shared a video snippet to his Instagram a while back of an untitled track where he raps, "I might ice my AK out / I might ice my steering wheel/ Flex for the fuckboys / hate 'cause you suck, boy."
The oldest of the bunch, Lil B, 28, dropped "Young Niggaz" featuring YG, but more recently, the rapper made headlines for firing shots at Post Malone. He tweeted, "Post Malone is slowly turning into a white dude! Lol he’s pushing, it give it a few years he gon be full country and hate blacks lol."
So it's safe to say we may never see those two having a studio session anytime soon.
