Luke Cage premieres 9/30.

Netflix has just released the final trailer for the much anticipated Marvel action series "Luke Cage," the third collab between the two brands. The new series will debut on Friday, September 30th, but a pre-Netflix premiere is set to go down in Harlem this Wednesday, September 28th.

About the show: Cage, a former convict, was given superhuman strength and unbreakable skin during a botched experiment and he now fights crime in his Harlem neighborhood. Starring Mike Colter, it will be Marvel's first African-American led series.

Luke Cage received some high praise from one of the writers of the first few episodes, Cheo Hodari Coker, who compared the show to HBO's classic series "The Wire." Coker told Entertainment Weekly;

"We've got drama. I would like this to be, I mean, I know this is heavy but, The Wire of Marvel television, because we really deal with a lot of different issues."

If that's not enough to get you to tune in, maybe the extended trailer above will do the trick.
