Nicki Minaj, Halsey, and Spanish singer Rosalía have been announced as the headlining acts performing at the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards. MTV's "Global" award gala is set to air live from Spain on November 4.

Actors Michael Peña and Diego Luna, the two main actors in the forthcoming Netflix spinoff Narcos: Mexico, have been chosen ahead of time as presenters. On top that, Janet Jackson will be flown in to accept yet another well-deserved lifetime achievement award, MTV's Global Icon award.

Rosalía and Halsey are making their first appearances at the MTV EMAs. The Spanish singer received her fair share of praise this side of the Atlantic in '18, earning herself a Latin Grammy Award nod for "Best New Artist."

Halsey, on the other hand, is well acquainted with the European peninsula, having completed multiple sold out gigs in London, England. Both hope to build on promising starts, with a solid EMA performance, with the World as a stage.

As for who figures in the conversation for silverware, Camila Cabello leads the pack with six EMA nominations, including the award for "Best Artist." Other nominees include Ariana Grande, Drake, Dua Lipa, and Post Malone. Grande is up for 5 awards herself, including "Best Video," and "Best Song."
