Nile Rodgers and Chic are readying their first album after a 26-year hiatus and their latest offering from the tape comes in the form of a collaboration with Vic Mensa, Mura Masa, Anderson .Paak and Cosha. The new song is titled "Till The World Falls" and it's a funky beat with the added voices of modern hitmakers.
The song will come off the upcoming tape It's About Time. "I've had the great privilege of producing some of the most important artists in the world so when it came time to collaborating for my own record the barometer was shall we say pretty high," Nile said in a statement about the artists that will feature on the project.
“Anderson .Paak and I were at Abbey Road [Studios] for three days,” Nile added. “We had just three days booked to just jam and write songs and just do whatever we felt… Anderson Paak is just a genius, and working with him was, as I say, smooth as a gravy sandwich.”
Listen to the new beat and let us know what you think.
Let's step out tonight
My feet go up, they fly, we dance on clouds tonight
With me, you're at your high
And it's my birthday
Imma just rock my birthday suit
