Watch the L.A. rapper's self-directed video for the "Severed" highlight.
After releasing his Severed project last month, L.A. rapper Nocando has shared the video for "Mykraphone Myk," a noisy post-trap record from the album. Quick edits and grainy shots match the urgency of the record, which flips from unpredictable high-hat rhythms and measured snare and bass. Dissonant, paranoid keys are present throughout, while Nocando shifts his vocal energy from concentrated multi-syllabic rhymes, to rumbling chest voice melodies, to strained emotional yells. All in all, it keeps you on your toes. Nocando's new album is available across all platforms. It features guest appearances from Ghetts, Otherwize, Troop and Slug from Atmosphere.
