Offset is banking on LeBron James bringing the LakeShow all the way.
If you've been paying attention to preseason basketball, you can already see that a few players will be surprising nice this year. Obviously, there are always some teams that luck out in the draft with guys that outperform their expectations. Just think of people like Donovan Mitchell. The Los Angeles Lakers have the potential to be a very good team in the next few years. While they may not be expected to reach the highest of heights this year, the addition of LeBron James means a lot for the future of the team. They also have their own goldmine in Kyle Kuzma. Offset knows this but he's banking on their immediate success.
Set was in the studio with 21 Savage when he made a high-risk bet, saying that the Lakers will make it all the way this year. 21 Savage disagrees, choosing to document the moment to show Offset just how silly he looks at a later date. Honestly, it's hard to rank exactly where the team will end up come playoff time. During the preseason, LeBron has proven he has high chemistry with Brandon Ingram. Javale McGee and Rajon Rondo have also been playing well during their time on the court. Are they a championship team? Probably not yet but do they have a chance in future years? Absolutely.
