HotNewHipHop's On The Come Up series profiles rising stars in the rap game that show strong promise and the will to succeed. Most of the time, they're new to the site but deserve some shine. We will profile artists and producers ranging from those in the deep underground to artists just about to bubble up into the mainstream that you may have missed. You'll be able to check out some of their best work, and we'll break down what makes them great by category. Throughout the article, you'll find links to hear more from the artist or producer, and you can leave suggestions in the comments letting us know who we should profile in the future.

For this week's edition, we head to Connecticut to catch up with Jitta On The Track, who's had a wild few years and is gearing up to drop his biggest project to date. He's a versatile rapper that can slow it down and get melodic on you, but also deliver serious bars when needed. He just started a partnership with Chris Webby's Homegrown Music imprint, and is about to head out on tour with Webby this fall. We recently got the chance to chat with the 22 year-old spitter about his come up, touring with Drake, what it means to live the Lumber Life, and a bunch of other stuff. We figured we'd help you get acquainted with Jitta before he's in your zip code stealing your chick.

Before we get into it, you know we always like to bring the exclusives, and today's no different. HNHH is proud to bring you the exclusive premier of the title track off Jitta's upcoming Bipolar project. You can peep the video below, and make sure you download the whole tape when it drops in late October.
