We haven't heard from Pharoahe Monch for a long minute, in fact, the last song we have from him is a rough version of "Stand Your Ground" which was released in July. Today marks Pharoahe's return, and he comes correct with a new single "Bad Motherfucker."
Pharoahe Monch is still at work on his album P.T.S.D. (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), and this serves as the lead single off it. Monch shows and proves why he has a bad mafucka on the track, over a monstrous horn-driven beat (produced by Lee Stone). The upcoming album will round up appearances from Black Thought, Talib Kweli, Denaun Porter, The Stepkids, Marco Polo, Quelle Chris and more.
Cop the track on iTunes, and peep some dope bars from Pharoahe below.
"The best liar told a lie inside a room full of liars / The lie was so exciting that all the liars admired / When the truth walked in the building, every liar retired / Deception was defeated and deceit became deleted / Uh, they mad 'cause they can't stop me / 'Cause I said 'fuck swag', I got moxy / Lyrically ecstasy, I got that oxy"
