Could a big money fight impel Wiz Khalifa to turn pro?
At first glance, it would seem that Post Malone has a deathwish for Wiz Khalifa by insisting upon UFC legend Anderson Silva has his 1st MMA opponent. "I wanna see Wiz and Silva. They got the same type of body type, long and skinny," said Posty in conference with TMZ. If you didn't know any better, you would think Post Malone was setting his rapper-peer up for disaster, but in truth, the Bud Light aficionado is no different than the rest of us in wanting the ideal PPV-sell, at any cost.
Post Malone and Wiz Khalifa are presumably on the friendliest of terms, owing to a history of boosting each other's efforts in a supporting role. Wiz is said to have one of the key "members of the established order" to lend "White Iverson" support in the early going before the song reached Nirvana on SoundCloud.
For his part, Wiz Khalifa is on the steady incline when it comes to his MMA training regiment. The part-time rapper is currently getting a 101 on "striking" from boxing legend Evander Holyfield. The two men have been meeting up at Jay Glazer's Unbreakable Performance Center in LA for one-on-one training sessions.
There's no word on when Wiz Khalifa will make his debut in the sport, if at all. Wiz has said in the past, that if the money were right he would consider going pro. For now, MMA is, unfortunately, nothing more than a vocational interest for Wiz Khalifa, until the Logan Pauls of the World come knocking at the door.
