Quincy delivers on video for his latest "Don't Know Nothing" single.
Quincy is set on following in the influential musical footsteps set before him. As is the case with most offspring of celebrities, stepping out of the shadow of your famous parental units can be a task. For Quincy, it may seem to be a bit of a taller order as he is the biological son of singer Al B. Sure, the godson of Quincy Jones, and was raised by Sean “Diddy” Combs. Nonetheless, 26-year old is comfortably seated in his own lane, locking down a starring role on FOX’s smash STAR series, and hopping on Diddy’s Bad Boy Records roster for his budding career.
He recently returned with his second single of the year with “Don’t Know Nothing,” and now taps director Anthony Supreme to deliver on the accompanying visuals.
“Love at first sight is rare today. What people tend to overlook is the quality of a person,” Quincy explains of the inspiration behind the cut. “It’s not our faults […] Technology has given unlimited access to made up portrayals of who people are, which leads to heartbreak. This song is about pursuing a girl based off of what I only can see, but by surprise, I was more in love from what I couldn’t see. The person who she really is.”
