Reason confirms that he and ScHoolboy Q are dropping off a new banger this Friday, furthering album speculation.
Before the quarantine period kicked off, all signs seemed to point to an imminent album release from TDE's Reason. Alas, the best-laid plans collapsed for every label, including the generally well-oiled machine that is Top Dawg Entertainment. Still, we have seen some activity from the daring lyricist, who most recently turned heads with his provocative and controversial single "Might Not Make It."

It would appear that Reason is once again back on course to release something new, as the rapper has officially confirmed another single will be dropping on Friday. This time, the track is set to feature his labelmate ScHoolboy Q, marking the first collaboration between the two. As Reason tells it, we'd be wise to prepare ourselves for this one. "Me and @ScHoolboyQ got somethin for y’all Friday," he confirms. "Been waiting to put this out."
Given that this would be the fourth Reason single to drop in the past seven months, it stands to reason that his major-label debut will be out by summer. After all, the mighty label has to start somewhere, and who better to set things off that one of the West Coast's sharpest lyricists? Sound off below with your expectations on both the new Reason single and the album as a whole.
