Florida is becoming the next big breeding ground for the coronavirus, it would seem. Over the weekend, there was a major increase in confirmed cases, with as many as 4,000 people being diagnosed with COVID-19 in a single day. If that number seems extreme, that's because it is.

One of the state's biggest rap legends has officially given his take on the spike in the Sunshine State, joking about it as he seemingly plans to remain indoors.

"4K new cases in 24hrs," wrote Rick Ross on Instagram Stories. He doesn't really seem all too concerned and, considering his mansion can make for prime social distancing measures, he likely has nothing to be scared about. Still, he came through with a joke to lighten the mood.

"The fungus... is among us!" playfully said the 44-year-old. He suggested hand sanitizer to anybody that is heading out to the shops and restaurants.

Tory Lanez has also been chilling in Miami during the pandemic but, compared to Rozay, he's been more 'lax about it all. He was spotted hanging out with Megan Thee Stallion as social distancing guidelines were at their most strict, also proclaiming his excitement after the clubs reopened.

With the NBA Bubble expected to begin next month in Florida, Adam Silver is said to be a little concerned about the recent spike in cases. Do you think this could affect how things will go down when the season restarts?
