Kenny Beats flexes his muscles and Rico Nasty unleashes on the mic on the pair's joint project Anger Management. Beats recently shared on social media that Anger Management only took them five days to complete, including features by Baauer, EarthGang, and Splurge. Nasty has been solidifying herself as a not only a female force to be reckoned with, but as a rising, multifaceted artist that refuses to conform to music industry norms and expectations.
Last year she dropped her fourth mixtape Nasty and since then has been rocking stages from coast to coast. The 21-year-old is known to come across as brash and unapologetic, traits that she said were developed when she was growing up getting bullied in school. The aggression she expresses on her tracks isn't typically delivered by female artists, but Nasty's attitude and cadence can make a skeptic a believer.
Beats, meanwhile, adds his talents by creating rhythms that are refreshing in today's musical landscape...and Anger Management listeners will obviously recognize Jay Z's "Dirt Off Your Shoulder" beat from his 2003 acclaimed record The Black Album on "Hatin."
