Dick Grayson and Bruce Wayne grew apart.
DC fans are torn when it comes to the new Titans tv series, but I'm excited. We haven't gotten a good representation of the Teen Titans on screen since the Cartoon Network anime series years ago, and even that was a toned down version of what to expect. Now, DC is set to bring a live-action series based around Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, and Raven to their new streaming service.
DC has already blessed us with a trailer for Titans, but they've released new visuals prior to the show's premiere at New York Comic Con in a few days. The new trailer gives us a better look at Robin and Batman's relationship, and it also touches upon the main plot, which seems to revolve around Raven. Raven is possessed with a dark entity that gives her powers, and it appears some creepy religious cult is attempting to kidnap her. Both Starfire and Robin are hell-bent on saving Raven, while Beast Boy just enjoys flirting with her and complimenting her hair. Via Comicbook.com, here is the official description for the New York Comic Con premiere of Titans:
"Warner Bros. Television’s highly anticipated, live-action dramatic adventure series, Titans will be the first original series to launch on the upcoming DC UNIVERSE, the first-of-its-kind digital subscription service that gives fans access to exclusive content and experiences not available anywhere else. But before its Oct. 12 debut on the DC UNIVERSE service, Titans will serve as the kickoff event for New York Comic Con 2018, with an exclusive world premiere screening on Wednesday night, followed by a Q&A session with series stars and executive producers."
Don't be confused by the trailer below, which references Netflix. DC's streaming service only works in the US, so Netflix will stream the series in foreign territories.
