Smokepurpp dropped off his most recent project Deadstar back in October and he recently followed it up with a mobile game, "Deadstar: The Game." In addition to the video game, it came along with three unreleased songs including "Can't Pick Up."
Smokepurpp takes a more laid back route with "Can't Pick Up." With 8-Bit inspired production, the rapper delivers a smooth new banger produced by Nova. It doesn't fit in the regular mold of aggressive, ignorant banger with distorted bass. Instead, Smokepurpp takes a much more calmer route, flexing his vocal range while his voice is dazzled in auto-tune. The rapper expresses being too turnt up to pick up a phone and speak to anyone, something that's probably a common occurrence in his life.
Along with this single, he also dropped off "Bih" and "Droptop." All three songs are featured on his "Deadstar: The Game" app available on Google play and the Apple app store.
I got five hoes, in my phone
But I can't pick up right now
I got two hoes, in my home
And I kicked them bitches out
