HNHH's weekly round-up of our favorite tracks of the week.
It's days like today that make it so obvious hip-hop is more exciting than any other genre right now. Meek Mill's comeback statement, DC4, finally arrived, as did a surprise mixtape from 2 Chainz, and the third and final installment in Jeezy's beloved "Trap or Die" series. As Meek and Jeezy's projects aren't available (in full) on SoundCloud, only 2 Chainz has received a placement on this week's Staff Picks round-up playlist. Both of the Hibachi for Lunch EP selections come from yours truly, and it's my opinion that the Necklace Don dropped the best project of all this week's arrivals. What a year he's had.
Our Staff Picks playlist is also a showcase of what you might have missed earlier this week, like Tory Lanez' "Look No Further," one of two tracks he dropped on Monday instead of his usual Fargo Friday. Also this week, HNHH put out its first-ever On The Come Up mixtape, made up of exclusive material from the likes of Dae Dae, PnB Rock, Nyck Caution, and more. A highlight of the tape -- 21 Savage's Ricky Racks-produced "Racks in My Pocket" -- appears early on in the new playlist, which should be perfect for the weekend's Halloween festivities.
Stream the playlist and check out each staff member's picks below.
