Stefflon Don's name has grown rapidly in the North American market over the past year and some change. The U.K. rapper landed on the XXL Freshmen List in 2018 before releasing her mixtape, Secure featuring Sean Paul, Future, DJ Khaled, Popcaan, and more. Since then, she's been on a steady feature run, collaborating with everyone from Idris Elba to Lil Kim, Tory Lanez, Mariah Carey, and apparently has a song with XXXTENTACION and Vybz Kartel. It's been a minute since we heard some solo music from her but today, she returns with a new track with Rymez.
Stefflon Don teams up with producer Rymez for her latest track, "Don Walk," which features a prominent sample from TLC's 1999 hit, "No Scrubs." Stefflon turns the track into a sultry, dancehall jam. The way Rymez flips the sample is reminiscent of the way Vybz Kartel and Spice used Ne-Yo's "Miss Independent" beat and turned it into a whole new track on "Romping Shop."
