SZA promises to make it up to her fans this Friday.
When you think of the Coachella's opening weekend you probably just think of Beyonce, which is completely understandable. But aside from Bey's impressive two-hour set, there were some other notable acts performing in the festival and SZA was one of them. Unfortunately, her set was cut short, leaving fans sad about her not being able to perform her beloved track "The Weekend."
"I'm sorry, but I'll make it up to you next week," she told the crowd. In one of SZA's latest shared to Instagram, the TDE artist details more about her set and how the tragic situation has only provided her with an opportunity for growth.
"Last week kicked my ass. Every technical difficulty that could’ve went wrong did. Every “friend” I asked to come out bailed on me," she captioned a photo of her pink two-piece outfit. "Lost my voice completely. Didn’t even get a chance to play the weekend . Couldn’t believe it was all happening on my biggest stage to date. I LOVE AND ACCEPT ALL CHALLENGES !! THANK U GOD FOR EVERY GROWTH OPPORTUNITY TO STEP INTO BIGGER DRAWS. I AM BIGGER THAN MY ADVERSITY . DOWN 9 TIMES BUT I GET UP 10!! This Friday is MINE"
SZA is set to take the stage at 9:55PM on Friday, April 20th. We're sure her fans will be there waiting for round two.
