It's T-Mix season!
In a new snippet dropped off by Teddy, he hops over the track, adapting to the same flow delivered by Cardi on the original cut to give us lyrics like, “I pull up to the party in a ‘Rari / Hoppin’ out the ‘Rari with your shawty / My other bitch pull up on a Harley / My other bitch smokin’ on a molly." In the clip, you'll also hear T-Pain give a look toward Offset in a fashion similar to the way the Bronx superstar addresses her fiancé on the original hook.
Cardi B certainly approved of the forthcoming “T-Mix” as she reposted the snippet herself, with a caption reading, "Shit fireeeeð¥ð¥ð¥ BARTIER CARDI!!"
The song first arrived in December of last year as the second single off of Cardi’s forthcoming debut studio album. While it hasn’t expereinced the same viral success of its predecessor “Bodak Yellow,” “Bartier Cardi” enjoyed a comfortable peak at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has since certified Gold in the United States. We haven’t gotten too many high profile remixes of the track, but it’s like that T-Pain‘s drop could set nice trend in motion.
Cardi is hardly the first torchbearer to get love from the veteran hitmaker, though. The last “T-Mix” we received was recently in the form of Pizzle’s take on Kodak Black and XXXTentacion’s “Roll In Peace.”
